Please remember, Salem’s Light does not have an adoption program and therefore is not able to take owner surrenders or other dogs in need of a home. If you need to surrender a dog, please refer to the “Resources” page for the appropriate animal control agency and local rescue organizations who may be able to help.
Note: If you are concerned about the care of a dog, please contact your local animal control agency first (contact information is available on the “Resources” page). While Salem’s Light can help improve the living conditions of a dog, we rely on the owner’s cooperation/approval and do have not legal enforcement authority.
